An announcement was made during this years Tsar’s Days in Ekaterinburg, that a mural depicting the image of Emperor Nicholas II will appear on a building in the center of the city. The mural is the the work of artist Sergey Khramov, who created another mural depicting Prince Mikhail of Tver – already adorns one of the streets of Tver.

The artist has already prepared his sketch of the wall mural for the Ural capital. The Tsar is depicted in full length against the background of images that tell about some of the many achievements of the Emperor, during his 22-year reign, from 1894 to 1917.

After viewing the mural of Prince Mikhail of Tver, Metropolitan Evgeny of Yekaterinburg invited the artist to create a mural depicting the Holy Tsar Passion-Bearer Nicholas II.

The size of the mural will be 7 meters [23 ft.] wide and 16 meters [52 ft.] tall. The 5-storey mural will apparently cover the entire side of the building. At the time of this writing, the author of this articule regrets that he does not know the exact building the mural will appear . . . stay turned for more details on this exciting new project.
